You can experiment with the feature and preview the effect on Canvas, but to make a project using Warp you will need a Cricut Access subscription.
I’m subscribed to Cricut Access; why is the Warp tool greyed out?
The Warp tool is greyed out only if the object you have on the canvas is not a single layer text object. Right now, only single layer text objects can have a Warp applied to them. Shapes, images, phrase images, editable text objects, groups, monograms, and multi-layer fonts cannot be warped.

Not yet, but we are working to add this functionality to the Warp tool in Design Space soon.
Can I Warp objects other than text?

Welding and slicing warped text is not available. To achieve similar cut results use Unite and Subtract from the Combine menu instead.
Can I Flatten my text object once I apply a Warp effect?
You can Flatten warped text to other shapes but the ability to Flatten the warped text object alone is not available.
Why does the Warp feature have a beta tag?
We are confident in our algorithm, but we are still working to optimize the feature in a variety of ways. With more people using the feature we can gather data on how it's performing and make needed improvements. Every design you make with it helps us further improve it to better meet your needs. Thank you for using the Warp tool in these early stages.
