Assembly Instructions
Here’s how to assemble your new Docking Stand for Cricut Venture.
- Identify preassembled parts:
- Stand top
- 2 identical sets of legs
- 2 identical sets of crossbars with thumb screws and washers
- 2 identical catch baskets
- 2 identical mat hooks
- Important: Don’t remove the tape and packaging from the stand top just yet. It protects your stand top from scratches during assembly and holds it flat during the next few steps.
- Insert the mat hooks into the hook slots on the stand top. You can find them in the corner of the packaging for the stand top.
- Slide one leg assembly into the left metal bracket, matching the arrow symbols on the legs and stand top, and ensure it is firmly seated in the bracket.
- Slide the other leg assembly into the right metal bracket, matching the arrow symbols on the legs and stand top, and ensure it is firmly seated in the bracket.
- On one set of crossbars, remove the foam from the thumb screws, then use the thumb screws to attach the cross bars to the front legs.
- Repeat for the second set of crossbars: remove the foam from the thumb screws and use the thumb screws to attach the cross bars to the back legs.
- Flip the stand so it is upright, and remove the packaging from the legs and stand top.
- Press down on the brake to lock the easy-glide wheels and prevent stand from moving.
- Attach each of the catch basket tension straps with clips onto the catch basket arms. It helps to attach the clip above the small metal notch, then slide it down onto the metal notch to keep it in place.
- Take one of the catch baskets, place the rear bar behind the two legs, and push the metal rods into the mounting points.
- Push the catch basket arms into the catch basket horizontal bar.
- Repeat this for the other catch basket: place the rear bar behind the two legs, and push the metal rods into the mounting points.
- Push the catch basket arms into the catch basket horizontal bar.
- Place Cricut Venture on top of the docking posts, lining up the connection points on the bottom of the machine, then draw the machine slightly forward to the front edge of the docking stand. When placed correctly, the machine will be flush with the stand surface, and secure; you will not be able to tip or tilt the machine forward off the stand.
- To remove Cricut Venture from the Docking Stand, tilt it backwards and lift up.
