Your Cricut Venture machine requires routine cleaning – heavy use may result in debris gathering around the rail, drive rollers, and sensors. If you notice debris collecting on the machine, or whenever Design Space prompts you to do so, use the included cleaning tools with isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher) to complete the cleaning process. *
Design Space will automatically prompt you to clean your machine after many hours of use. However, to access the cleaning instructions as needed outside of the periodic Design Space prompt:
- While on the Design Space home page, open the menu at the top right by clicking your profile name.
- Then select Settings.
- Go to Machines > Machine Care > Select Cricut device > Start.
- Connect to your machine and select the cleaning you want to start. If your machine does not show on this screen, exit the cleaning, connect to your machine via Bluetooth or USB, and then open the cleaning page again.
Tip: If your crafting environment is dusty or prone to other debris (such as pet hair) you may find it helpful to cover the machine with a sheet or other light covering when not in use.
Important: *Do not use acetone-based solutions or other cleaning products as they may damage the machine. For safety instructions and more information about care and handling, refer to your Cricut Venture User Guide.
