This light indicates your Cricut machine may be experiencing a Bluetooth component issue. We are aware of this issue and as of October 13th, 2025 we are beginning to roll-out a firmware update to address the problem.
Bluetooth issues you may encounter prior to the update:
- Machine is unable to pair on any device
- Connection dropping intermittently
- Design Space errors -45, 237
For the best experience please connect to Design Space on a Windows/Mac computer via a USB cable until the firmware update is available for your machine. When the update is ready, your machine will be updated automatically when connected to Design Space.
Can I force the firmware update rather than waiting for it?
No. You must wait until the firmware update becomes available for your machine.
What if I still have trouble connecting after receiving the firmware update?
