Windows Firewall blocks most of the software by default to help protect your computer from intrusion. In some instances, you may have to allow trusted software through your Windows Firewall in order to make them work properly.
This help article will show you how to do that in various Windows versions. The common installation location of Cricut Design Space is as follows, this may vary slightly based on your Windows Operating System:
- Press the Start button and search "allow firewall". In Windows 10, you can search directly in the search bar near the start button.
- Select the best match "Allow an app through the Windows Firewall". You'll get another window.
- Click on Change Settings. When prompted for the administrator password, type it to continue.
- If the Cricut program is not listed, you can click Allow another app button to add it manually.
Click Browse and select the Cricut program from the installation path specified at the beginning of this help article, and click Add. Then click OK in the main window to save the changes.
