Why do I need to turn Mirror on in Design Space when cutting iron-on or Infusible Ink materials?
Most iron-on and Infusible Ink material comes adhered to a heat-resistant liner that protects your design during the heat-transfer process. These materials are placed liner-side down for cutting so your machine can cut the design on the heat-transfer material but leave the liner intact. Because of this, the design needs to be mirrored so it appears correctly when transferred to your base material. This is especially important for designs that need to face a certain direction, like text.
Left: The finished project when mirroring correctly.
Right: Finished project when forgetting to mirror.
