- The display is showing boxes
- The screen is blank/does not show anything

Cricut Expression 2
- Stuck on the Welcome Screen
- Keeps flipping to the Welcome Screen and/or restarting
- LCD is unresponsive
- Stuck on the End User License Agreement (EULA)
- LCD Calibration is off
- Stuck on the Tap to Zoom/Icon Label message
- The display is white, blurry, or pixelated
- Mat preview shows a grey box

Keeps flipping to the Welcome Screen and/or restarting

- Ensure that the silicone protective cover has been removed.
- Power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the machine.
- If the screen is still unresponsive after the Hard Reset, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
Stuck on the End User License Agreement (EULA)
- Ensure that the silicone protective cover has been removed.
- Power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the machine.
- If the Hard Reset does not help, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
- Ensure that the silicone protective cover has been removed.
- Power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the machine.

Stuck on the Tap to Zoom/Icon Label message
- Ensure that the silicone protective cover has been removed.
- Power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the machine.

The display is white, blurry, or pixelated
- Ensure that the silicone protective cover has been removed.
- Power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the machine.
- If this does not help, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
- This usually means that the image selected is too large for the paper or mat size selected on the machine. You can resolve this through one of the options below:
- Decrease the size of the image
- Increase the paper size
- Increase mat size
- Check to make sure the Center Point function is turned off (using the Center Point feature with the start position in the upper left-hand corner will force the image off the edge of the mat and only show a grey box on the mat preview.)
- Change your Start Position (move it in and down) until you see your image on the mat preview again
- Check to make sure the Fit to Length function is turned off. For fit to length, you can also change the Mat Size to the 12x24 Landscape Mode mat or decrease the Fit to Length size.
- If that does not help, power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the machine.

Cricut Imagine

- LCD not responding

- Power off the machine and perform a Hard Reset on the Imagine machine.
- If the Hard Reset does not help, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
Grey box displayed on the mat instead of my selected image
- When you see a grey box on your mat in the Project Preview screen, this means that the image is too large for the paper.
- To fix it simply click on the grey box. The image will appear.
- Then click on the Edit button that looks like a pencil and change the size of your image so that it fits withing the cutting area on the mat.
- Click "Apply" at the bottom right of the screen and your image will appear correctly on the mat.
Faceplate around LCD is falling off
- Apply glue or adhesive to the faceplate of the machine and re-attach it to the Imagine machine. This will not damage the machine.
Cricut Gypsy
- Flips back to the Welcome screen
- Stuck on Loading screen
- LCD Unresponsive or Calibration is off
- Black screen - Blue light
- LCD cracked or broken
Flips back to the Welcome screen
- Peform a Soft Reset of the Gypsy.
- To do this, unscrew the top from the stylus (the part with the loop). On the back of the Gypsy machine, you will see a pin hole above what looks like 3 speaker holes. Stick the pointy end of the stylus top in that pinhole to reset the machine (the Gypsy will just be powered OFF). Then power the machine ON and attempt your project again.
- If the Soft Reset does not help, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
- Peform a Soft Reset of the Gypsy.
- To do this, unscrew the top from the stylus (the part with the loop). On the back of the Gypsy machine, you will see a pin hole above what looks like 3 speaker holes. Stick the pointy end of the stylus top in that pinhole to reset the machine (the Gypsy will just be powered OFF). Then power the machine on and attempt your project again.
- If the Soft Reset does not help, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
LCD Unresponsive or Calibration is off
- Attempt a Hard Reset on the Gypsy.
- If Gypsy is ON, power it OFF. Then hold down the top right silver button, the silver circle button, and the Power button all at the same time until a rainbow screen appears. Then release the buttons and follow the onscreen instructions to recalibrate the screen and finish the reset.
- If the Hard Reset does not help, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
- Attempt a Hard Reset on the Gypsy.
- If Gypsy is ON, power it OFF. Then hold down the top right silver button, the silver circle button, and the Power button all at the same time until a rainbow screen appears. Then release the buttons and follow the onscreen instructions to recalibrate the screen and finish the reset. Repeat this process twice more. It can take multiple resets to resolve this issue.
- If the Hard Reset does not resolve the issue, please contact Member Care through one of the options below for further assistance.
