You can emboss, deboss, and letterpress images in the Cuttlebug All-In-One system. This line of Cuttlebug products uses a folder and a variety of embossing plates to give you the freedom to move and create your own designs. The positive plates are green, and the negative plates are clear.
Instructions for Embossing
- Place the positive plate (green) into the holes on the bottom of the folder (green). Press until you hear a snap. The plate should be flat.
- Align the negative plate (clear) on top of the positive plate. Close the folder, pressing down until you hear a snap.
- Open the folder. Place paper between the plates. Place two “B” mats on top of the closed folder and run through the Cuttlebug machine.
Instructions for Debossing
- Place the negative plate (clear) into the holes on the bottom of the folder (green). Press until you hear a snap. The plate should be flat.
- Align the positive plate (green) on top of the negative plate. Close the folder, pressing down until you hear a snap.
- Open the folder. Place paper between the plates. Place two “B” mats on top of the closed folder and run through the Cuttlebug machine.
Instructions for Letterpress Printing
- Place the positive plate (green) into the holes on the bottom of the folder (green). Press until you hear a snap. The plate should be flat.
- Place a blank plate on top of the positive plate. Close the folder, pressing down until you hear a snap.
- Evenly cover raised designs with ink using craft tool and ink pad.
- Place letterpress paper between the plates. Close the folder. Place two “B” mats on top of the closed folder and run through the Cuttlebug machine.
