Design Space features thousands of Ready-to-Make projects — projects that are pre-designed and ready to send to your machine with little to no design work on your part! These projects include everything from home décor to fashion to paper crafting. New projects are added on a regular basis. To make one of these projects, all you need to do is gather your supplies and go!
Windows/Mac (Desktop app)
On the Home page, enter a search term in the field. Then, scroll to browse Ready-to-Make projects, or filter by categories.
On the Canvas, select Projects from the left panel. Then, you can scroll to browse, enter search terms, or select Search All Projects. In the Projects screen you can filter by category.
iOS/Android (Mobile app)
On the Home page, enter a search term in the field. Then, scroll to browse Ready-to-Make projects, or filter by categories.
Once you click on a project you want to make, the project details screen will open. If the project is a Community project it will have a description and tags. If the project was created by Cricut it may include:
- Project Name
- Difficulty Level
- Estimated Completion Time
- Materials Required
- Instructions
- Cost of the project (if any)
Tip: When purchasing a project, you are actually purchasing the images/fonts/patterns used in that project, and they are added to your account permanently. You will not be charged again for those resources if they are used in another project.
Making a Ready-to-Make Project
You can make your chosen Ready-to-Make project by clicking:
- The "Make It" button - this takes you directly to the mat preview screen.
- The "Customize" button - this takes you to the Canvas where you can edit the project as desired. Click Save to save the project in your account, and then click Make It.
Note: Many of the sewing and insert card Ready-to-Make projects do not have the Customize option in order to prevent mistakes that could be made by resizing or unlocking the aspect ratio of a piece of the pattern.
