The Print Then Cut cut sensor light on the underside of the carriage is used to scan cut sensor marks on Print Then Cut projects.
Tip: It is okay if this sensor light is always on, or always off, during cut-only projects.
- If the light comes on when you power the machine on, it is usually because one or both of the clamps on the carriage is in the down position. To try turning this light off you can either lift the clamps or power the machine off and back on.
- If the light does not come on when attempting Print Then Cut projects, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Note: If the light is already on when you open the machine, prior to powering it on, this is due to residual electrical current in the machine. It does not signify a defect or other machine issue.
