If you receive an error message like this when attempting to install the Design Space plugin on macOS 10.14, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- Select the Apple in the top left corner of the computer screen and select System Preferences from the drop-down. Then select Security and Privacy.
- On the next screen select the Privacy tab, then select Automation on the left side of the screen.
- Find Cricut-DesignSpace-Web in the list of applications. Then click to add a check mark in the System Events box.
- Quit System Preferences. Return to the Design Space installation screen and refresh the browser. Select Download again when prompted. When the download is complete, select the download to run the installer.
