Settings overview
To access settings in Design Space for Desktop, click on the menu in the top right where your profile image and name are displayed. Then, select Settings.
Design Space for Desktop settings are grouped into tabs:
- General
- Country – Choose your Country
- Language – Choose your Language
- Default Save location – Decide if projects will save to the cloud & computer, or only the cloud by default
- Application Experience – Switch between using the Beta or regular version of Design Space

How to submit bug reports and feedback
When using Cricut Design Space, if you encounter something that isn't working the way you think it should, or if you have an idea about how to improve the experience, please submit the problem or feedback using the Feedback tool that is found in the Account Menu.
- Select the Help menu > Report a Bug.
- You will then be prompted for your feedback. Select a category, add a title, and include a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing or the suggestion you have.
- You can also include a screenshot or attach a file to help illustrate the issue.
- Select Submit to send your feedback to Cricut.
- Select the Help icon in the app. Then select Report a Bug.
- On the next screen you can choose to report a bug, suggest an improvement, or ask a question.
- Enter your email address and a detailed description about the issue you're experiencing, the suggestion you have, or the question you would like to ask. When reporting a problem, it is helpful to provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce the issue.
- Near the bottom of the form find the option to start a screen recording, take a screenshot, or select a file from the gallery. It is helpful if you include a screenshot or recording of the issue with your feedback.
- Select the Send icon to send the form to Cricut. Thank you for helping us make Cricut Design Space better!
- Select the Help icon in the app. Then select Report a Bug.

How to view Design Space in another language
Design Space for Desktop is available in 22 languages. Follow the instructions below to view Design Space in your preferred language.
Design Space for Desktop
Design Space for Desktop language is easily changed through Settings. Simply select the Design Space menu in the top right, choose Settings, then select your preferred language from the language selector on the General tab.
Note: Your language selection in Design Space for Desktop overrides your operating system display language setting. The default setting is English, but Design Space for Desktop will remember your selection after you choose something different.
Design Space for mobile
Design Space mobile app language is determined by your device settings. Consult your device user manual or manufacturer for assistance changing language settings on your device.
How to switch to Beta
You can try out new features and experience our latest Design Space for Desktop app improvements any time! It’s easy to switch between live and beta versions of Design Space for Desktop. Here's how:
- Open the Design Space menu and select Settings.
- Select Beta under Application Experience, then click Done.
- The beta version of the app will automatically install and restart. When you navigate back to Settings > Application experience, you'll see "Beta" is selected and the version number has been updated to reflect the version currently in Beta.
