When creating Infusible Ink projects, always refer to Cricut EasyPress Heat Transfer Guide for precise pressure recommendations. Use these helpful guidelines to get your pressure just right:
Select Your Surface
We recommend using a firm, flat, waist-high surface, like a standard desk or kitchen table. This allows you to get the right leverage for even, controlled pressure. High counters and craft tables or bistro tables are not recommended as this tends to naturally decrease the pressure you apply, which may result in an unwanted transfer effect.
Firm Pressure
From a standing position, grasp Cricut EasyPress handle with two hands spread as far apart as the handle allows and press down.
Medium Pressure
Grasp Cricut EasyPress handle with one hand in the center of the handle and press down.
Important: For Cricut EasyPress 2, 12" x 10" (30 cm x 25 cm) users, lightly hold your Cricut EasyPress handle with two hands spread as far apart as the handle allows and press down slightly. This helps balance the larger heat plate.
Light Pressure
Rest one palm in the center of Cricut EasyPress handle and press down.
Important: For Cricut EasyPress 2, 12" x 10" (30 cm x 25 cm) users, lightly rest both palms on your Cricut EasyPress handle spread as far apart as the handle allows during transfer. This helps balance the larger heat plate.
No Pressure
You will have no contact with Cricut EasyPress during transfer. The weight of the press is enough for these types of applications.
