This release (5.12) includes the following features and fixes:
Updated project privacy settings & other changes to project sharing experience
1. When sharing a project select from new privacy settings in the Who can view this project? dropdown (Public checkbox on initial save of project has been removed):
- Only Me
- Only you can view your project
- Anyone with link
- Members with the link can view. Sign-in required. By sharing you agree to Cricut's Terms of Use.
- Everyone
- This project will be visible in your profile and may be featured in the community. By sharing you agree to Cricut's Terms of Use.
2. Changed order of Description and Tags in Edit Project view.
3. Options on project tile will differ based on project's privacy and save settings.
- Selecting menu (three horizontal dots) on project tile:
- Selecting Share on project tile:
- If privacy settings are "Anyone with link" or "Everyone":
- If privacy setting is "Only Me":
- If privacy settings are "Anyone with link" or "Everyone":
4. Project Details view: Edit option moved from lower left to upper right.
Updates to New Machine Setup
Some changes were made to the images and flow in the New Machine Setup. Instead of viewing all products at once, select a category first, then select your specific machine.

- Incorrect project tile is displayed in View Profile
- Design Space scheduled maintenance modal overlaps Machine selector
- Unable to cut projects with saved Patterns offline
- Unable to open user projects - parent project deleted
- "Get DIY inspo" checkbox checked by default in international countries- should not be
- Project details screen - "Font (name not found)" displayed
- Charging for system fonts in international countries
- Cricut Joy - Clamp image is not displayed when mat is unloaded
- A Native folder is created on the desktop when welding/slicing
