This Design Space for Desktop release (v7.9) contains the following features.
Monogram Maker
Personalize items with greater ease than ever with the new Monogram Maker! Choose from a variety of classic and thematic designs, text styles, and frames to make a custom monogram right from the Canvas!
Note: At this time, Monogram Maker is in beta in English, and available to Cricut Access subscribers in Design Space for Desktop v7.9 and higher only. All users can try creating with the Monogram Maker but you must have a Cricut Access subscription to send Monogram Maker creations to the machine.
Note: You can input up to 4 initials. Whenever the design uses a large initial in the center, the last initial you input will be placed in the center.
When you find just the right combination, select Add to Canvas. You can then work with it the way you would any other design, adjusting colors, line type, etc.

Restore Brush Improvements
Now when you choose to restore areas of your image during upload, we show you a shadow of the restore area to better assist you with image restoration.
Automatic Background Remover Improvements (part 2)
These improvements allow you to do the following:
- You can now edit an uploaded image while in Preview Cut Image view.
- You can now adjust Color Reduction after Automatic Background Removal has been applied; the system will retain the background removal even after Color Reduction has been applied.
