What this issue looks like
- The unit does not appear to power on.
- The unit used to power on, but does not now.
- Pressing and holding the power button does not turn the unit on.
- Pressing and holding the power button does not turn the unit off.
Before you start
- Make sure the unit is connected to a power outlet that works.
- When you press the power button, press it very quickly.
- Do not hold the button down. Even a 1-second press may be too long.
To turn the unit on
- Locate the power button on your Cricut EasyPress SE or Cricut EasyPress 2.
- Press the power button very briefly.
- Make sure you still feel the button click.
- Remove your finger right away. Do not linger on the button.
- Expected result: The unit powers on.
To turn the unit off
- Press the power button very briefly again.
- Remove your finger right away after the click.
- Expected result: The unit powers off.
