How to Customize Sticker and Photo Templates with Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut

Learn how to customize Sticker and Photo templates in Cricut Design Space with Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut. Templates are ready to Make as is, or you can customize the images, text, colors, patterns, backgrounds, and other elements to make the design your own.

The available customization options may vary depending on the template and elements you select.

Selecting a Template

You can choose a template directly from the Design Space Home screen or while working on the Canvas.

From the Home screen

1. Find a template. From the Home screen, scroll to Start with a Template. Browse the available templates or use the search bar to find something specific. Keep scrolling down to find more recommended templates.

Note: Stylized Photo Sticker Sheets and Transformation tools function differently from other Templates by using AI to transform uploaded photos. Click here for more information about Stylized Photo & Sticker Sheets.

1. Narrow your results. Select Stickers, Labels, Photo Prints, or Cards & Invites to view templates for that project type. You can also keep All selected to browse templates across project types.
2. Choose a template. Browse the available collections and select the template you want to use.

From the Canvas

Select Templates from the Canvas to browse available templates. The templates shown are based on the project category you selected when starting your project.

For example:

• If you started with Stickers, you'll see templates available for Sticker projects.
• If you started with Labels, you'll see templates available for Label projects.
• If you started with Photo Prints, you'll see templates available for Photo Print projects.
• If you started with Cards & Invitations, you'll see templates available for Card and Invitation projects.

Choose the template you want to use to add it to your project.

Once your template is on the Canvas, use the section below that matches the type of project you're creating.

Customize a Sticker or Label Template

Sticker and Label templates can be used as they are or customized to make the design your own.

1. Select an element to customize. Select an element on the Canvas to see the options available for that element. You may need to double-click to select the specific element you want to customize.

2. Customize the Fill. Select a shape or Design Space image, then select Fill. Choose a color, pattern, photo, or previously AI-generated image. Design Space automatically positions your selection within the element.

   Note: If you want to adjust how a pattern, photo, or AI-generated image appears, select Edit Fill to reposition, zoom, or edit the Fill. You can also use Adjust, Filters, Crop, or Erase for further customization. 

   

    

3. Customize the sticker Border. Elements added to the Canvas automatically become stickers and a Border is added around them. Select the element, then select Border to adjust the size or color of the Border.

   To print an element without cutting it as a sticker, select Border, then turn off the Sticker option.

   

    

4. Customize text. Select your text box to change the font, font size, font style, justification, or formatting.

   • Computer: Double-click the text box to change the words or letters.
   • Mobile: Select the text box, then tap Edit Text to change the words or letters.
   • Select Format for additional options, including letter and line spacing, text wrapping, and ungrouping text to adjust individual letters.

   

    

5. Customize the background. Select Background below the Canvas to choose a different color, pattern, photo, or previously AI-generated image.

   

    

6. Add, remove, or arrange elements. Personalize your template by adding or changing elements on the Canvas.

   • Add an element. Add images, shapes, text, uploaded images, or content created with AI Create.
   • Remove an element. Select the element you want to remove, then select Delete.
   • Move an element. Select and drag an element to reposition it on the Canvas.
   • Resize an element. Select an element, then use the handles around the selection box to resize it.
   • Arrange elements. Select Arrange to move an element forward, backward, to the front, or to the back when elements overlap.
   • Layout tool. Use Layout to fill the sheet with more of your stickers, or to generate a unique sticker sheet with a background and filler stickers. 

   

    

   Overlapping stickers: Overlapping stickers will be cut separately unless they are merged. To combine two or more stickers into a single sticker, select both stickers by clicking/tapping and dragging over them, then select Merge Sticker from the menu that appears below the images.

   

    

7. Review and print your sticker or label sheet. When you're happy with your design, select Make. Review your project in the preview, then select Go! to print.

   

    

Customize a Photo, Card, or Invitation Template

Photo, Card, and Invitation templates can be used as they are or customized with your own photos, text, backgrounds, and other design elements.

1. Select an element to customize. Select an element on the Canvas to see the options available for that element. You may need to double-click to select the specific element you want to customize.

2. Customize the Fill. Select a shape or Design Space image, then select Fill. Choose a color, pattern, photo, or previously AI-generated image. Design Space automatically positions your selection within the element.

   Note: If you want to adjust how a pattern, photo, or AI-generated image appears, select Edit Fill to reposition, zoom, or edit the Fill. You can also use Adjust, Filters, Crop, or Erase for further customization. 

   

    

3. Customize text. Select your text box to change the font, font size, font style, justification, or formatting.

   Note: If a photo or other element covers the entire design area, the background will not be visible. Resize or reposition the element if you want the background to show.

   • Remove an element. Select the element you want to remove, then select Delete.
