For some unwanted transfer results, using a cooler or warmer setting on Cricut Mug Press may help.
- Yellowing or over-processing of design — use a cooler setting
- Bottom corners of design not transferring, or lack of clean edges near handle — use a warmer setting
How to change the temperature setting
Enter Temperature Setting mode from any machine state, whether powered on or off.
- Press and hold power button for 10+ seconds. You will hear two chimes and all LEDs will flash once when Temperature Setting mode begins. Power button will flash orange continuously while in Temperature Setting mode.
Note: Wait for two chimes before releasing the power button. Otherwise, Cricut Mug Press will not be in Temperature Setting mode.
- The row of LEDs will display the current setting. Push power button to cycle through the 3 setting options:
- Cooler – first LED solid on
- Normal – third LED solid on
- Warmer – fifth LED solid on
- Cooler – first LED solid on
- When desired setting shows on LED display, hold power button for 3 seconds to select that setting. A chime will sound, LED display and power button will flash, and the press will power off to exit Temperature Setting mode.
- The new setting will be in effect when press is powered back on.
Tip: To exit Temperature Setting mode without selecting a new setting, simply unplug power cable. When plugged back in and powered on, press will use original temperature setting.
Note: If changing the setting does not resolve the issue, you can change the setting back to Normal using the steps above. Contact Member Care for further assistance.
