Follow the instructions below to cut Cricut Genuine Leather, Cricut Metallic Leather, or Cricut Faux Leather with your Cricut Explore series, Cricut Maker series, or Cricut Venture machine.
Tips
- For best results cutting Cricut Genuine Leather use a clean cutting mat and a sharp blade.
- When using the Debossing Tip or when scoring Faux Leather with the Scoring Stylus, place Faux Leather face up on the mat for best results. When scoring Faux Leather with Scoring Wheel or Double Scoring Wheel, place Faux Leather face down on the mat for best results.
- Glue: Many different types of glues can be used with Cricut leathers, and the one you need will depend on the nature of your project. Many of our Cricut leather Ready-to-Make projects used either hot glue or spray adhesive.
