What you need
- Cricut cutting machine (Print Then Cut compatible*) + Fine Point Blade and Housing
- Cricut Light Grip machine mat
- Design Space software on computer or mobile device
- Cricut Printable Magnet Sheets
- Inkjet home printer**
*Cricut Explore machines, Cricut Maker machines, Cricut Venture, and Cricut Joy Xtra.
Important: **For use with inkjet printers only. Using a laser printer may damage the materials or printer.
Preparation
- Check your printer’s instructions or print a test page on printer paper to ensure you know which way to load the printable side of the material.
- Remove printer paper and any other materials from the printer.
- Printable Magnet Sheets should be fed into the printer one sheet at a time.
Design and Print Then Cut
- Customize your printable design in Design Space, then select Make It.
- To learn how to create a printable design, visit How to Print Then Cut in Design Space.
- Following the instructions in Design Space, print your design.
- If your design requires multiple sheets, be sure to load one magnet sheet at a time into the printer.
- Allow printed sheet to dry.
- Place magnet sheet on Light Grip machine mat. Ensure the page is oriented on the mat as it appears in Design Space.
- Select “Browse All Materials,” then select the setting for Printable Magnet Sheets.
- Load mat and material into the machine and select Go.
- When the cut is complete, select Unload.
- Remove cuts from mat.
Apply
- Apply by hand to any magnetic surface
Note: Printable Magnet Sheets intended for decorative use. While magnetic, Printable Magnetic Sheets are not intended for securing papers or other items to a magnetic surface.
