Keep Cricut StickerPix Print materials clean and protected to help maintain print quality and machine performance.
Handle materials carefully
- Avoid touching printable surfaces. Oils and fingerprints can affect print quality. Avoid touching the printable surface of unprinted materials or the ink film.
- Remove dust with compressed air. If materials or the Material Tray are exposed to dust or airborne particles, use compressed air to clean them before use.
- Avoid liquids and cleaners. Do not use water, solvents, or household cleaners on unprinted materials.
Store materials properly
Keep materials in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
The optimal paper storage environment is:
- Below 86°F (30°C)
- Relative humidity below 80%.
Print quality may be affected if temperature or humidity conditions are not appropriate.
When not in use, store materials in one of the following:
- Their original packaging. Cut across the very top of the original plastic bag with scissors so it can be reused for storage.
- A clean, hard-sided container with a secure lid.
- The Material Tray in the storage position.
Important: Do not store opened materials in zippered plastic storage bags. Coatings inside these bags can damage the material.
