To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, turn the pod over, and move the switch to your preference.
Adjusting the Temperature and Time
- Refer to the Cricut Heat Guide to ensure you are using recommended settings with Cricut Autopress.
Note: Machine will begin to heat to default temperature of 315°F (157°C) and 30 seconds for the timer, if powering on for the first time. Otherwise, it will always default to the last-used temperature and time setting.
- Once you have determined your settings from Cricut Heat Guide, turn the left dial to the right for a higher temperature and to the left for a lower temperature. Each ‘click’ will move the temperature up/down in 5° increments. If no dial rotation is detected in 1000ms, the current displayed temperature is confirmed.
- Next, turn the right dial to set the timer. Turn the right dial to the right to increase the time and to the left to decrease the time. Each ‘click’ will move the time up/down in 1-second increments. If moved quickly it will change in 5-second increments. If no dial rotation is detected in 1000ms, the current displayed temperature is confirmed.
- Temperature icon will be orange while the machine is heating up or cooling down. Once it is green, it has reached the target temperature. This is the same for the handle LED.
How to Use Presets
- Make sure you get the correct settings for your favorite materials from Cricut Heat Guide, then set the temperature and time on the control pod.
- Press and hold down one of the preset buttons until you hear a single chime. This means the preset was saved. You can save up to 4 preset temperatures and times.
