Unable to open Design Space
For some reason, Design Space couldn't load
There are a few things to check if you get the above error screens or a blank white screen. Select a platform below for troubleshooting steps.
Reinstall Design Space
Whether Design Space is out of date or has had an issue, the most common fix for these errors is to uninstall and reinstall Design Space from https://design.cricut.com/. For step-by-step instructions on this, visit these articles:

Third-Party Software Interference
Cricut has detected an issue related to some third-party software that is affecting Design Space for Desktop. Due to some security configuration changes made by these applications, your Design Space application may not be able to communicate securely to our servers. This can result in an error screen showing on startup, error messages showing while using the application, etc.
Validating Correct SSL Certificate
On affected computers secure web traffic may be routed to a 3rd party and could be a sign of your computer being infected with malware. To validate the certificate is correct and what you expect on your Windows computer:
- Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to http://design.cricut.com/.
- Click on the padlock icon in the address bar, then in the drop-down that appears.
- Click on the certificate icon.
- If you don’t see the information below, you might be experiencing this issue. Install a malware scanner or talk to a computer repair technician to correct the issue.
