Button Iconography
Cricut EasyPress 3 button iconography has been refreshed and features new temperature and “go” button icons.

USB Port
Cricut EasyPress 2 has a micro-USB port on the back, near the power cord. This port is used to update firmware. Cricut EasyPress 3 also has a micro-USB port on the back, which is used to load firmware to the machine during manufacture (any subsequent firmware updates are accomplished through the Cricut Heat app). Earlier Cricut EasyPress models do not have this port.
Maximum temperature
Cricut EasyPress 2 and Cricut EasyPress 3 feature precise temperature control up to 400°F (205°C). Original Cricut EasyPress features precise temperature control up to 360°F (180°C).
