I installed Design Space for Desktop, but it is not loading.
You may have downloaded the Design Space application but just haven’t installed it yet. If that’s the case, follow these instructions to install the application. Make sure that you select the instructions for your operating system (Windows or Mac).

I keep getting prompted to download and install Design Space for Desktop.
Once you install the desktop app, you’ll open Design Space just like you open up any other application – from your computer, not from a website. If you visit a website with a Design Space link, you may be presented with options to Open or Download the app. Select Open.

This issue is usually resolved by resetting your Cricut ID password. Reset your password on this page. If you don’t get a password reset email in a few minutes, contact Member Care.

Design Space for Desktop seems slow.
Speed can be impacted by many factors. A Force Reload of the application may solve the problem. Confirm you are connected to the internet, and be sure to save your work. With Design Space for Desktop open, follow these steps:
- Go to the top left corner of your screen and select View
- Select Force Reload from the drop down

I see a blank white screen when I launch Design Space for Desktop.
This issue is easily resolved by clearing your application cache. Contact Member Care for assistance in troubleshooting this issue.
I have Windows 10 but receive a persistent message that I need Windows 8 or newer.
There may be a compatibility setting that is interfering. To resolve this:
- Close any instance of Design Space.
- Right-click on the Cricut Design Space shortcut/icon and select Properties.
- Select the Compatibility tab.
- Deselect any compatibility settings that are selected and click Apply.
- Relaunch Design Space.
- If any issues persist, contact Member Care for assistance.
