Cricut EasyPress 3 time & temperature settings can be adjusted manually using the buttons on the press itself or wirelessly through the Cricut Heat App.
Adjusting settings manually

- To set temperature: Press the temperature button (3 heat wave lines), then adjust with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons. To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, press and hold the temperature button until you see the change from °F to °C occur on the screen.
- To set time: Press the time button (with the image of a clock), then adjust the value with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.
- What the lights mean:
- Orange = it’s heating up
- Green = temperature has been reached
- Red = there is an error
Note: Recommended time and temperature settings for Cricut EasyPress 3 are found in the Cricut Heat app.
Adjusting settings using Cricut Heat app
- Plug Cricut EasyPress 3 into a compatible wall outlet and press the power button to turn on.
- Launch the Cricut Heat app.
- Under My Heat Presses, select Cricut EasyPress 3, and select Start New Project.
- Select your transfer material, the base material to which you will apply it, and what you're using as a pressing surface, then select Next.
- Once all selections have been made, select Send Settings to EasyPress.
- The app will show progress as your press is heating up to the target temperature.
Creating a custom setting
- Launch the Cricut Heat app.
- Under My Heat Presses, select Cricut EasyPress 3.
- Select Set custom time & temp under Start New Project.
- Tap on the Temperature and Press fields to enter the desired temperature and time. . It will be in 5° increments.
- Choose Preheat and Flip & Press settings as desired.
- Once all selections have been made, select Send Settings to EasyPress.
