Learn how to troubleshoot issues you may encounter while printing and/or cutting with your Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut.
Before you begin
If you receive an error in Cricut Design Space while designing, printing, or cutting, follow any on-screen instructions provided.
If the on-screen instructions do not resolve the issue, or no instructions are provided, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshooting Steps
-
Verify the material type. Make sure the correct material is loaded for your machine and project type. For material loading instructions see Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut paper, ink, and supplies.
- StickerPix Print materials are not compatible with StickerPix Print + Cut.
- Check the material tray. Remove and reinsert the material tray, making sure it is fully and properly seated.
- Restart Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut. Turn the machine off and wait 15 seconds before turning it back on. Wait for the machine to finish starting up, then try and connect again.
-
Check for paper jams or debris. Before checking for or removing jammed material, restart Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut. Restarting the machine repositions the print head and internal components to help prevent damage when removing material. Do not forcibly pull out Photo Paper or Sticker Sheets.
Once the machine has restarted, turn it off and unplug it before continuing.
-
Check Door D on the bottom of the machine.
- Turn the machine onto its side and open Door D.
- Locate and remove the jammed material.
- Close Door D and return the machine to its operating position.
- Check the blade assembly. Remove Machine Door B and check the blade assembly and carriage for material or debris. If this is your first print and cut, make sure the packaging guard has been removed from the blade and clamp assembly. Replace Machine Door B when finished.
- Check the printing area. Remove the material tray and check for jammed material or debris. Remove anything you find, then reinstall the material tray, making sure it is fully seated.
- Prepare and restart the machine. Make sure the ink cartridge is properly installed, the material tray is fully seated, and all doors and panels are securely closed. Plug the machine back in and turn it on.
-
Check Door D on the bottom of the machine.
